[Dromcollogher Fire, County Limerick]. Grand Variety Entertainment in aid of Drumcollogher Relief Fund on Sunday 26th September, 1926. Olympia Theatre, Dame Street. In September 1926, a temporary cinema in Dromcollogher caught fire when a candle ignited a reel of Nitrate film stock. Forty-eight people died in this tragedy; forty-six of them are buried in a grave in the grounds of the local church
