Sean Daly (Fenian) Papers: Cork-man, Sean Daly took an active part in the IRA Border Campaign of the 1950s. Following his release from Mountjoy Jail he left Ireland for Canada where he carried out extensive research on the Fenian Movement in North America. On his return to Ireland he established Tower Books Publishing, producing numerous books relating to Cork and to Irish social and labour history. The papers on offer here are principally transcriptions from Irish-American publications regarding the Fenians and other political activists in the second half or the 1800s and the early decades of the 1900s. The material is bound in seven volumes of typescript, running to almost 1800 pages
